Mark McCafferty Bio

Mark McCafferty - I'm a singer/songwriter, born in Glasgow, now living in the east coast of Scotland.  Raised on Elvis, Neil Diamond and sixties music.  I am influenced by acts such as Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Sean Rowe, Neil Diamond, Elvis, Noel Gallagher, Woody Guthrie, Simon & Garfunkel, Neil Young to name but a few!!

A few years ago I decided I would like to leave something of myself on this planet for my children when I'm long gone.  So after many years as a 'couch strummer'  I decided to start recording my songs....

My music I would describe as 'Rustic Folk Music'  My albums are recorded at home in Studio 51, there is some production but very minimal giving a true sound of how the song sounded originally!!
